22 days since Paris...

SHEESH!!

Feels like Paris was just a few days ago. Business and the world it seems, is moving with a new speed and vigor that I’m still getting used to. There are interview requests, artwork submissions for magazines, the look book shoot I wasn’t expecting to have to plan, and the numerous other parts of business that have to be handled daily just to maintain.
If you follow wearNIKI on social media, then you know that Paris was quite the roller coaster. If you don’t follow our socials, let me just sum up an eventful story with, shit got very real in Paris. Our collection did not arrive until the day after the fashion show and we had to pivot in a major way. We’ll be migrating the vlogs from social media to the All Access portal soon.
I was incredibly disappointed for the work that I’d intended to go down the runway in Paris, not to have gone. My team and I put a tremendous amount of sweat and love into not only the garments we’d prepared, but the looks overall. We planned every detail, not having the opportunity to demonstrate that fully was heart breaking. But as they say, sometimes a great setback is a setup for a major comeback. God’s plan, which I believe is much grander than anything I could have envisioned for myself, is still unfolding.
